Nick and I wound this badboy up all day today thru the Offset. John, if you ever feel you have to part with it, I'm sure Nick will be first in line. Considering Nick is a die-hard LP fan, that's saying a lot. It's very authorative, punchy, and mucho thick.
The neck position is absolutely perfect. Not muddy at all, just extremely full and blooming. The Spin-a-split allows you to slowly turn from full humbucker to full single coil, a nice feature with cool in between settings. You can dial in just a hint of single coil glass, or all the way for full chime.
The Bridge delivers the heat without being too over the top. I felt it sounded tight and powerful. The ToneStyler is fun to tweak, I love the cocked-wah setting.
One feature we all picked up on was how much this guitar sang and sustained, but too a long time to feedback. It amazing how long the fundamentals ring out and sooooo slooooowly build into harmonic feedback. SuperNatural baby!

So John, you said some great things over the phone to me regarding the wait and build-experience the other day...thank you! It's been a pleasure and I hope you enjoy #027 for a long long time.

Cheers and thanks!
Ron
