The curly koa was almost 3" thick allowing it to be resawn into 2 carve tops and a flat top. The koa for the neck was 2" thick x 10" allowing each neck to be cut side by side. The BRW for the boards was 1-1/4" x 3" x 22" yielding consecutive boards and the truss rod covers too. This is why the tops and the fretboards almost all look the same. It's like each half of a bookmatch is used per guitar....just different No pieces were end to end. They are going on display at a guitar show in Tokyo on Nov. 2-6, and will be sold as a set. Ron
