Q: What do you do if you want a new Thorn, but don't have the cash or want to wait for one?
A: Trade.

Q: What do you do if the you don't care for the way said Thorn looks, appointments-wise?
A: Call Ron, brainstorm, solve, and change it!

Well...I did have to wait for the UPS delivery...

Many, many thanks to Quinny for being open to the trade. I got this Thorn (Artisan Standard #040), he got my highly prized (and rare) 1977 Les Paul Custom - yeah, the one I said I'd never part with

With Ron's blessings, I made some cosmetic changes - after all, it came with cream colored covers! Ron made the pickguard for me as well (bakelite, no bevel, just like the old days!), I rewired it and got the switch moved around and voila - it's now my Thorn Super Junior!
